Description

The purpose of project grants is to create and disseminate knowledge about an identified issue within the framework of a defined research project. Background and purpose The Sustainable Social Services Research Programme is a ten-year national research programme implemented by Forte on behalf of the Swedish Government from 2025 to 2034. The purpose of the programme is to contribute to the development of knowledge-based and sustainable social services that meet the needs of the population and support the development of a socially sustainable society. The aim of this call for project grant applications is to fund research projects of high scientific quality that address needs identified in social services practice or policy, at the individual, organisational, professional or system level. The call is based on the programme’s strategic research agenda (in Swedish only) Scope of the call The research funded through this call must be clearly grounded in the needs and challenges facing social services or service users that have been identified and prioritised in the programme’s strategic agenda. The research results must have the potential to benefit the development of practices or policy in the field. The research shall contribute to strengthened access to knowledge-based methods and work approaches in social services practice or otherwise contribute to strengthening the scientific basis for the development of sustainable social services.
