Grant for Frontiers of Science collaboration with Japan

Description

The purpose of this grant is to enable Swedish higher education institutions (HEIs) to coordinate and organise Swedish participation in the first Japanese–Swedish Frontiers of Science Symposium, to be held in Tokyo in 2028. The symposium will bring together outstanding early-career researchers from Sweden and Japan across disciplinary boundaries to discuss emerging research frontiers and scientific challenges. The initiative aims to strengthen scientific exchange between the two countries, foster new perspectives and collaborations, and contribute to the long-term development of excellent research environments.
